Since its inception, our law firm began specializing in providing legal services to passenger and cargo airlines, developing a theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of aviation law and the applicable normative to this industry. In particular, we have assisted several foreign airlines with the process of starting its operations in Chile, being in charge of the corporate, tax and labour matters, and of course, with the fulfillment of the requirements imposed by the aviation authorities, either the Civil Aeronautical Board or the General Direction of Civil Aeronautic. An important element of our aviation practice is the defence of the air carrier interests in litigation related with their civil liability for passengers or cargo claims. In this regard, we have represented the interests of the most important airlines that have offered air transportation services in Chile.
