WKB Wiercinski, Kwiecinski, Baehr is an independent Polish law firm headquartered in Warsaw, with a second office in Poznan. Our staff consists of over 50 lawyers specialised in all areas of business law. Our client base includes Polish and multinational public and private companies engaged in key sectors of the Polish economy. We cooperate on regular basic with most prestigious foreign law firms with no offices in Poland.

For years, we have advised Poland’s largest energy companies and numerous foreign investors operating in the power, heat and gas industries. WKB lawyers acted as key counsel for Polish Electric Energy Committee, a body representing leading energy sector companies, in the course of the legislative process on amendments to Polish energy law in the context of implementation of EU directives. We advised the Polish Chamber of Gas on secondary legislation under the Energy Law Act. WKB staff regularly represents energy sector associations during legislative consultations at the ministerial level and in the Parliament. WKB is also proactively engaged in legislative work on amendments to nuclear power law in connection with nuclear power development plans in Poland.
