Firm Description

Studio Legale Giorgetti‚ was founded by Avvocato Luigi Giorgetti in 1922. Two year later the firm became involved in insurance law in which it is now specialized. Currently the firm employs six lawyers and a consultant all of whom are assisted by non-qualified support staff.

The firm is based in Milan the centre of financial and international legal work in Italy and has domestic and international network (Insuralex) to assist and defend Italian and/or foreign clients all over Italy and abroad.

Studio Legale Giorgetti is retained by nearly all British loss adjusting firms in Italy; other clients include Lloyd’s syndicates, major Italian and foreign insurance and reinsurance companies as well as insurance brooking houses. Despite its insurance specialization the firm also boasts clients in the banking, industrial and commercial spheres.

The firm offers its clients a wide range of legal services from court litigation and arbitration to straight-forward commercial negotiations and mediation. Lawyers are members of the International Bar Association as well as of the International Association of Defence Counsel, of the D.R.I. – Defence Research Institute; DRI – Europe, Association of Fellows and Legal Scholars of the Center for International Studies of Salzburg .
