Sabev & Partners is a private partnership established in 1998 and aimed at serving the business activities of local and international companies. The law firm’s practice is focused on continuous and comprehensive legal service to corporate clients. This covers corporate matters (including winding up and insolvency procedures), mergers and acquisitions, corporate and business restructuring, public companies and securities, intellectual property, competition, taxation issues, representation in litigation and arbitration proceedings.

Currently, Sabev & Partners advises clients from various industries, such as production and trade in pharmaceuticals, non-ferrous metals, engineering, packaging industry, public transportation, real estate and construction, commercial properties and golf resorts development, IT and electronic payment systems, corporate and personal finance, etc.

Sabev & Partners is also often engaged by and provides services to the benefit of Bulgarian state institutions: Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Transport, Financial Supervision Commission, Privatisation and Post-Privatisation Control Agency. In many of these cases Sabev & Partners’ lawyers have been appointed under EU or USAID funded programmes, of which the respective state institutions are beneficiaries.

In the area of public procurements, the law firm is engaged in advising local and international clients in relation to their participation as bidders in procurement procedures, including legal representation in appeal procedures before the Commission for Protection of Competition and the Supreme Administrative Court. The law firm also advises local contracting authorities on structuring public procurement procedures and preparation of relevant documents.
