Permanent legal assistance is given to companies such as BHP Billiton (Escondida and Cerro Colorado), Teck Cominco (Carmen de Andacollo and Quebrada Blanca), Freeport Mc Moran (El Abra, Candelaria y Cerro Colorado), Cour d´Alene Mines Corporation, Barrick, Xstrata, Aur Resources, Southern Copper Corporation, Angloamerican, Kinross.

Main Projects:

Geotérmica del Norte S.A. (ENAP and Enel consortium): The geothermal project “El Tatio” is the first geothermal project in Chile. It is located in one of the most important touristic areas in Chile. Last year the project had an incident that generated a “Geyser” of 60 meters and became one of the biggest environmental controversies of the Chilean history. I have led the defence of the project on courts and in front of the environmental authority.
SN Power - Maqueo Project: Environmental legal support for the obtainment of the environmental authorization for a US$1 billion hydro-project in Chile (Central and South of Chile);
Kinross Gold Corporation - Environmental legal support for the following mining projects: La Coipa Mine, Lobo Marte Mining Projectand Maricunga.
AdaptiveArc - Legal support for the incorporation of the company in Chile and negotiation of several agreements related to hazardous waste treatment business;

Celulosa Arauco (Celco) - environmental audits and preparation of environmental guidance books;
Linzor Capital - Environmental legal support in the acquisition of the biggest hazardous solid waste treatment company in Chile ;
Junta Vigilancia del Rio Huasco, an organization for the protection and assignment of the water resources of the Rio Huasco reservoir, in the negotiation with Barrick Gold related with the project of the gold deposit of Pascua -Lama
Methanex: Environmental legal support for the operation of a methanol plant in Punta Arenas.
Teck -Compañía Minera Carmen de Andacollo: Legal support for the preparation, filling and approval of its environmental impact study; and legal defence against administrative actions.
ESO (European Southern Observatory) - environmental legal assistance for all its projects and facilities in Chile. ALMA Project (Radio-astronomic Project) – support for the obtainment of environmental authorizations for the project in the north of Chile;
Southern Copper Corporation: Environmental legal counsel destined to support the obtainment of environmental authorizations for the execution of mining operations of exploration and exploitation in the north of Chile (2007).
Rio Huasco: Environmental counsel to an organization for the protection and assignment of the water resources of the Rio Huasco reservoir, in the negotiation with Barrick Gold related with the project of the gold deposit of Pascua -Lama (2007).
Counsel to Freeport McMoran in the sale of Cocesa (Cobre Cerrillos S.A.) to General Cable Corporation, in the amount of USD 70 million.
