Alves Pereira, Teixeira de Sousa & Associados is a Portuguese legal boutique. It was founded in 1990 by its senior partner José Alves Pereira under the name “José Alves Pereira & Associados”. In 2004 the firm began a new cycle. In addition to the previous professional team, several reputed lawyers decided to join the renewed “Alves Pereira, Teixeira de Sousa & Associados”.

Presently the firm is composed by a team of 21 lawyers, with a solid professional and academic background, distributed by the Lisbon and the Algarve offices. It has acted for carriers, insurers, service providers and operators in corporate, commercial, logistics, accidents and incidents, insurance and international litigation areas, in association with city law firms. It has also advised travel and holiday operators in many aspects related to their business. Alves Pereira &Teixeira de Sousa is an active member of EALA (the European Air Law Association).
