Founded in 1997 as Hankyul, the firm grew to include 36 Korean attorneys and 4 foreign legal consultants in 28-plus practice areas with a growing recognition by the business community. Following a merger in 2007 with NAEIL, a boutique firm specializing in real estate, Hankyul merged with Hanul in March 2011 and became Hankyul Hanul with 56 Korean attorneys and 6 foreign legal consultants.
