CMS Adonnino Ascoli & Cavasola Scamoni is a leading Italian law and tax firm, with offices in Rome, Milan and Tirana (Albania). The firm is the result of a merger of three long-established firms of acknowledged experience and reputation that, long before the merger, benefited from a successful cooperation.

The firm is presently composed of 18 partners and comprises over 70 lawyers and tax experts. The firm specialises mainly in corporate, energy and tax law. Its professional activity is equally divided between contentious and non-contentious work. The firm regularly works in English and French, with mother-tongue support staff. Many of the lawyers have been educated abroad and most of them have undertaken post-graduate studies, completed additional graduate legal studies at foreign schools and worked in the other European countries. In addition, many of its associates are members of international lawyers’ associations and regularly publish in both international and Italian legal journals.

The firm is a member of CMS, together with other major European independent firms, which provide clients with a full range of legal and tax services. CMS was established in 1999 and today comprises nine member firms, employing over 2,800 lawyers. CMS operates in 28 jurisdictions, with 53 offices.
