Ali Budiardjo, Nugroho, Reksodiputro (ABNR) was established in Jakarta in 1967 as a partnership of legal consultants in Indonesian business law. At present there are 85 legal practitioners in ABNR, comprising 82 Indonesian lawyers (15 Partners, 52 Associates, and 15 Assistant Lawyers), 2 Dutch lawyers and 1 Australian lawyer.

ABNR specializes in the handling of commercial and corporate legal matters. Such matters include joint venture arrangements, project financing, financial or corporate restructuring, privatization, capital markets, investments, mergers and acquisitions, licensing arrangements, banking, financial transactions, securitizations, oil, gas and general mining, power projects, construction projects, shipping, aviation, labor matters, intellectual property matters, telecommunications, consumer goods and product liability matters, environmental matters and bankruptcy. ABNR advises clients on all applicable Indonesian laws and regulations, administrative procedures and local legal practice.

ABNR has a number of partners and foreign counsels who are recognized by independent industry surveys and law firm guides as leading individuals in their fields. A number of our lawyers actively participate in the reformation of the judicial system, academic and university life, and are the authors of numerous publications, thus contributing to the evolution and dissemination of the law in Indonesia.

ABNR maintains an office in Singapore to extend its Indonesian legal services to Singapore based clients, including foreign clients that have regional headquarters in Singapore. The Singapore office is fully supported by the resources of the Jakarta head office.

ABNR is the sole Indonesian member of the world’s largest law firm association Lex Mundi and of the prestigious Pacific Rim Advisory Council (PRAC).
