The number of countries across the globe that actively pursue cartel enforcement continues to increase, and more countries are imposing significant fines on corporations and creating criminal enforcement programmes. In 2010, massive fines were imposed in three cross-border price-fixing investigations involving TFT-LCD, international air cargo and refrigerator compressors.
