What is the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS)?

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) is an arbitral institution established to resolve sport-related disputes. It is based in Lausanne, Switzerland. The CAS has been described by the Swiss Federal Supreme Court as ‘the Supreme Court of world sports’.
