Kier is a senior associate in the London antitrust, competition and trade practice group. He has acted on a wide range of transactional and behavioural matters, particularly in the chemicals and media sectors. His work includes investigations, proceedings and complaints before the European Commission, the Office of Fair Trading, the Competition Commission and OFCOM.

His experience includes:

• advising Tesco on the investigation into the UK groceries sector;
• advising aircraft manufacturers on joint production and long term supply agreements;
• advising Comcast on the application of European merger control rules to its joint venture with NBC Universal; and
• advising an Australian agrochemicals company before the UK Office of Fair Trading and the Competition Commission on the acquisition of a UK agrochemicals company.

Kier has spent time on secondment in the Moscow office and with a UK mobile operator.
