Soledad is a senior associate in the Madrid Antitrust, competition and trade department since 2010. Prior to joining the Madrid office, she worked in the ACT practice of our Brussels office for 10 years, representing multinational clients before the European Commission. In 2004, Soledad was seconded to an international client for six months, where she worked on a variety of matters including competition and compliance projects.
She specialises in EC and Spanish competition law, advising on merger control and behavioural matters before the European Commission and the Spanish national competition authority. She has experience across a broad range of sectors, including telecoms, consumer products and retail, chemicals, glass, aerospace and financial services.
Soledad speaks English and French. She was educated at the University of Madrid (UAM) and the University of Louvain, Belgium (LLM).
