Thorsten Mäger has been a partner with Hengeler Mueller since 2001.
Mr. Mäger specialises in all areas of European and German competition law. He has acted in numerous European and German cartel and abuse cases. He has been representing companies before national and European courts.
Mr. Mäger was admitted to the bar in 1996 and spent one year practicing with a UK law firm in London in 1998/1999. Ranked in Who’s Who Legal (energy, competition), PLC Which lawyer? (energy), Chambers (competition/European law), Legal 500 (competition) and JUVE (competition) Thorsten has been elected as one of the world’s leading 40 competition lawyers under the age of 40 by Global Competition Review, 2008. He is editor and co-author of a German handbook on EC competition law and co-author of a commentary on EC and German competition law.
