Arttu Mentula has acted as adviser in several cases related to competition law, especially cartel cases, horizontal agreements and other co-operation between competitors, abuse of a dominant position, distribution systems, compliance programs and state aid. Arttu has published various books in the field of competition and EU law, among others “Cartels in Finnish and EC Competition Law” and “Abuse of a Dominant Position in Competition Law”. He has also written several articles and acted as the Chairman of the Finnish Competition Law Association during the years 2000 - 2002 and he is a member of the present Board and the Chief Editor of the Competition Law Yearbook of the Association. Arttu is an appointed expert of the ICC’s Commission for Competition and a member of the American Bar Association.
