Fernando Medina Luna: Mr. Medina received his law degree from Universidad Anáhuac del Norte (1997-2001) and completed a masters degree in Company Law at Universidad Panamericana. He completed the Anglo-Saxon Law Program at the Academy of American and International Law, in Dallas, Texas (2006) and a postgraduate diploma in Commercial and Business Contracts at Universidad Iberoamericana (2003).
Mr. Medina began his professional career in 2000 as an intern at Barrera, Siqueiros y Torres Landa, S.C. and became an associate of the firm in 2001.
He published the articles titled “Ley Federal de Transparencia y Acceso a la Información Pública Gubernamental” en Reporte Legal (núm. 37, 2002), and "Reglamento y lineamientos relacionados con la Ley Federal de Transparencia y Acceso a la Información Pública Gubernamental" also in Legal Report (Reporte Legal) (number 40, 2003).
Mr. Medina has intervened in the negotiation and closing of all types of civil and commercial agreements, including advice on guarantee implementation, opinion elaboration and legal strategy planning. He has experience in structuring and execution of financial projects, restructuring projects, client representation before the Federal Attorney’s Office of Consumers and the advisory on promotions, information and advertising regarding different products and services.
He is also distinguished in advisory regarding industrial, commercial and housing projects, as well as in the creation and development of innovative legal strategies for the development of real estate projects. Likewise, he has successfully represented institutional real estate developers, real estate investors and companies whose essential assets rely on real estate.
