Helen is an Associate in the Environment and Safety team. She specialises in environmental and health and safety law in the UK and the Middle East. Her practice area includes: pollution liability regimes; permitting; renewable energy; international climate change mechanisms; waste management; sustainability; nuisance; and health and safety.

Helen advises clients on the regulatory framework for the waste, cleantech, oil and gas (onshore and offshore) and transport sectors. She has been involved in a number of contentious matters, including Environment Agency and HSE investigations and prosecutions, judicial reviews, and statutory appeals.

Helen was seconded for two years to the Dubai office where she worked on corporate and energy transactions, and advised on the emerging environmental law in the UAE, including federal law and local regulations.

Helen is a member of the UK Environmental Law Association (UKELA).
