Practice Description
Olena Kuchynska is an Associate at the Kyiv office of Baker & McKenzie with her primary focus on corporate law, equity capital markets, mergers and acquisitions. She also specializes in the telecommunications and environmental areas of law.

Career
Prior to joining Baker & McKenzie in October 2007, Olena worked as an associate in The Silecky Firm, P.C., which was a US-based law firm affiliated with Squire, Sanders & Dempsey L.L.P in Ukraine. Her relevant professional experience also includes position of a co-coordinator in a number of OSCE projects in Ukraine.

Education & Bar Admittance
Olena graduated from the law department of the National University of Ostroh Academy and received her degree in law in 2002 (diploma with honors). Subsequently, in 2003 she received her LL.M. degree from the Central European University, Budapest, Hungary (diploma with merits). She was admitted to Ukrainian Bar in 2005.

In addition to her native Ukrainian, she is fluent in Russian and English.
