LAM Chung Nian heads the Intellectual Property, Media & Technology Practice at WongPartnership
LLP. His main areas of practice are intellectual property (“IP”), media, telecommunications and
information technology (“IT”) law (both contentious and non-contentious). Chung Nian is involved in IP transactional, enforcement and advisory work.
Apart from handling IP registration matters, he also advises on agreements for their exploitation,
including licensing and franchising, as well as IP asset acquisitions, divestments and other
arrangements in the context of corporate mergers and acquisitions and IP due diligence. He also has
experience handling contentious IP/IT matters, involving patent, copyright, trade mark and other IP/IT disputes.
