Mina Kaway is a graduate of the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Brazil (LL.B.) and holds a master’s degree (LL.M.) from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies – IHEID of the University of Geneva.

She has participated in the Summer School and Extension Courses on Trademarks and Copyrights at the World Intellectual Property Organization – WIPO, Geneva, Switzerland and worked as Chief of Division at the General Coordination of Legal Affairs of the Secretariat of Economic Law – SDE / Ministry of Justice, Brasilia, Brazil. She has also worked as Franchise Manager at SWJM SA/Van Der Bauwede Genève, in Geneva, Switzerland.

She is a member of the Brazilian Bar Association (Santa Catarina).

Mina Kaway specializes in Trademarks, Licensing and Enforcement against Unfair Competition and Counterfeiting.

She speaks Portuguese, English and French.
