Máté Borbás graduated with a degree in law in 2006 from the Eötvös Loránd University (Budapest, Hungary). After his graduation, Máté joined SBGK Patent and Law Offices where he started working as a trainee lawyer. After passing his bar exams in 2010 he became an attorney and associate at SBGK.

Máté’s practice covers all areas of intellectual property law and he has significant experience in competition law, franchise law, contract law and corporate law.

He is a member of several professional associations such as Antitrust Alliance and the Hungarian Association for the Protection of Industrial Property and Copyright (MIE).
