Dr. Peter Etzbach is a partner of Oppenhoff & Partner and focuses his practice on the insurance industry. He advises German and international corporations and financial investors on cross-border M&A transactions, joint ventures and restructurings as well as on their financing. Apart from corporate law, he has particular expertise in insurance and reinsurance law, finance, capital markets as well as insurance and banking supervision.

Dr. Peter Etzbach started his career at Weil Gotshal & Manges LLP in Frankfurt in 2002. From 2004 to 2007 he was with Linklaters Oppenhoff & Rädler / Linklaters LLP. He studied law at the University of Cologne (Dr. iur.) and Fordham University School of Law, New York (LL.M.). He is also admitted to the New York Bar.
