Simon Bellas is a Senior Associate at Baker & McKenzie. He is an international lawyer who has recently transferred from Baker & McKenzie’s Melbourne office to Almaty. Simon specializes in construction project work, including contract drafting, project advice and international dispute resolution with a particular emphasis on the oil and gas industry following a secondment year in Singapore with Saipem (the world’s largest international oil and gas contractor). Simon holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business (with Hons) from the Queensland University of Technology, an LLB law degree (with Hons) from the University of Queensland. He also holds a Masters of Law (with Hons) from the University of Queensland and completed the Queensland Bar Practice (Advocacy) Course allowing him to sign the roll of Barristers in all Australian jurisdictions.
