Giuseppe Urbano is an associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer based in Rome and member of the ‘Environmental, Planning and Regulatory’ group, specialised in local public services, public procurement, project finance, environmental law and urban planning law.
Before joining the firm in 2006, he worked for the office in charge of the legal defence of the Italian State (Avvocatura generale dello Stato).
He graduated in law (J.D., summa cum laude) from the LUISS Guido Carli University. He is studying for a Ph.D in Law and Economics at the LUISS Guido Carli with a research work dealing with the role of the Italian administrative Judge in the economic system. Author of several articles and papers for conferences on the following arguments: public procurements, public local services and independent authorities. He speaks fluent English.
