Julia Hughes is an Associate in the Energy Group. She also summered and articled with the firm.

Her bachelor of commerce concentrating in petroleum land management helps her advise clients with respect to energy related matters. She assists clients by conducting due diligence reviews for oil, gas and wind transactions; drafting asset and share purchase and sale agreements and other industry related agreements; conducting research for clients facing legal issues relating to the energy industry; and providing general corporate assistance such as the incorporation, financing and reorganization of corporations.

She attained her Bachelor of commerce from the University of Calgary in 2004 and received her LLB from the same institution in 2008. She was admitted to the Alberta Bar in 2009.
