Brett A. Kagetsu is a partner in Gowlings’ Vancouver office and is Vice-Chair of the Corporate Finance and M&A National Practice Group. Brett advises mining and technology companies listed on the TSX and TSXV in respect of corporate finance, securities and corporate governance matters, as well as in connection with mergers and acquisitions. He also represents investment dealers in connection with regulatory compliance matters and equity financings of publicly listed issuers. Brett is an active member of Gowlings’ China Group and has represented Chinese companies that have made investments in Canada or sought a stock exchange listing in Canada. Brett is a director of the Richmond Hospital Foundation and is the chair of its governance committee.
