Mark Parsons is a Counsel in Freshfields’ IP/IT practice in Hong Kong. Mark is a member of Freshfields’ global technology, media and telecoms sector group and is recognized as a leading TMT practitioner in Chambers and Partners Asia and Asia Legal 500.

Mark advises on a broad range of information technology matters, focusing on corporate-commercial work in the TMT sectors, including outsourcings, technology licensing and development, content licensing, marketing and advertising contracts and TMT-focused mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, joint ventures and IPOs.

Mark is admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong and in England and Wales and as a barrister and solicitor in Ontario, Canada.

In addition to holding a JD from the University of Toronto, Mark also has a Bachelor of Applied Science in engineering from the University of Toronto, where he specialized in computer simulation and process design.
