Alexandre Ancel is a partner in the Corporate department of Allen & Overy Paris. He has experience in mergers, joint-ventures, cross-border acquisitions and corporate restructurings for international clients.

Alexandre has gained a significant experience in the energy sector, advising clients notably in the electricity, oil and gas sectors. In particular, he advises on nuclear and renewable projects (solar, wind-farms, hydroelectricity, CO2 and bio-fuels matters). Alexandre is a member of Allen & Overy worldwide Energy Group, the Syndicat des Energies Renouvelables (SER) and the Association Française de Droit de l’Energie (AFDEN). He co-leads the Energy Group in Paris.
