Master (MSc) in Utilities Regulation, London School of Economics and Political Sciences, Uk, Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. He has participated as arbitrator in more than 18 arbitration cases including those administrated by the Arbitration Center of the Chamber of Commerce of Lima, the State Superior Council of Contracts and Acquisitions, the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and “ad hoc” arbitrations in matters related to execution of construction contracts, service agreements termination, breach of supply contracts, among others.
He has been Member of the Board of the Supervising Agency for Private Investment in Energy – OSINERG, President of the Commission for Advertising Supervision and Repression of Unfair Competition and Member of the Free Competition Commission of the National Institute for the Defense of Competition and Protection of Intellectual Property – INDECOPI, Technical Secretary of the Commissions for the Defense of the Competition and Consumer Protection of INDECOPI. And Member of the Advisory Cabinet of the Ministry of Economy and Finances

Professor of Competition Law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and of Corporate, Regulation and Competition Law of the Master’s Program in Corporate Law at the same university. He has been Visiting Professor of Competition Law, Master Program, at Universidad Torcuato di Tella, Argentina.

He has been acknowledged as one of the leading lawyers in Regulation and Competition, Transportation, Telecommunications and Energy Regulation as well as Dispute Resolution in the ranking on the legal services market in Latin America in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011, developed by Chambers & Partners.
