Rowan joined Corrs in 2010 and is a Special Counsel in the Competition and Regulatory Group. He specialises in competition and consumer protection issues including:

·Merger clearances;
·ACCC immunities, investigations and proceedings;
·Trade practices advice including structuring transactions to take account of the CCA; and
·Access to essential infrastructures.

Prior to joining Corrs, Rowan spent several years in the competition group of a large law firm before joining the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission in 2006. At the ACCC, he held positions of Director in the Mergers Investigations Branch and Principal Lawyer in the Enforcement and Compliance Division.
