Evi N. Papacleovoulou holds an LLB Law Degree (Honours) King’s College University of London, LLM in European Union Law and Taxation (Merit Awarded) King’s College University of London with a Distinction in the Dissertation with topic “Gambling Activities in the European Internal Market” and is a graduate of the International Post-Graduate Tax Law Program. Evi is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the Association of International Arbitrators in the United Kingdom and the Cyprus National Association of Arbitrators. Evi is a Certified Documentary Credit Specialist and holds a certificate in International Trade and Finance from IFS School of Finance. Moreover, she is a qualified Advocate at Law and a member of the Cyprus Bar Association, the Athens Bar Association in Greece and the International Association of Young Lawyers as well as the International Bar Association.

Evi is an appointed member of the Legislative Reform Committees of the Cyprus Bar Association of the Taxation Committee, Company Law and Contract Law Committee, Stock Exchange Commitee and Legislative Reform Committee as well as the Disciplinary Committee of the Cyprus Bar Association. As a partner in the LCNP Law Chambers Nicos Papacleovoulou, Evi specialises in the areas of corporate and commercial law, mergers and acquisitions, taxation, banking, capital markets and private equity transactions, as well as the tax aspects of such transactions and tax planning, property law and contracts, immigration and European Union law.

Evi has also acted domestically and internationally for many companies involved in corporate structuring, debt restructuring well as advising and executing on trust and corporate structuring, tax planning and administration of companies and trusts. Evi has published articles in international journals and is a member of the board of directors of Cypriot and foreign public companies as well as of many private limited liability companies.
