Juan E. Coeymans is a member of Carey y Cía.’s Corporate/ Mergers & Acquisitions /Antitrust Group. His practice focuses on antitrust, corporate law and commercial law. He is Professor of Economic Law and Behavioral Law and Economics at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Between 2004 and 2008 he was Assistant Professor of Law and Economics at the Master of Laws at the Universidad Católica de Chile, and during 2009 he worked as a research assistant at the Columbia University Law School, New York. Mr. Coeymans studied law at the Universidad Católica de Chile Law School, graduating with a Minor in Economics, and was admitted to the Bar in 2006. In 2009 he obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from Columbia University Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. He is member of the Chilean Bar Association and also a member of the Center for Antitrust Studies at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
