Paku Khan joined Amarchand Mangaldas in January 2010 as Director of Competition Law. Mr. Khan has nearly 20 years experience as a senior competition/ corporate lawyer, having been recommended by Chambers & Partners and the Indian Business Law Journal for his competition law experience, and has played a leading role in all aspects of EU and US competition law cases, including multi-billion euro merger control, cartels, dominance and compliance cases with top private practice/public enforcement bodies in Europe and USA. Prior to joining Amarchand Mangaldas, he practiced competition and corporate law as a senior lawyer with European and US law firms and has also been a senior in-house legal counsel in a NYSE traded company. Mr. Khan also served in senior roles with the Irish Competition Authority and the Tennessee Attorney General’s Office and is qualified in several US and European jurisdictions. He also has considerable experience at having conducted dawn raids for competition regulators as well as defending dawn raids for private clients.
