Mads Kobberø is a leading practitioner of environmental law in Denmark. He advises municipalities and public and private enterprises on all types of cases within environmental protection, soil and water pollution, planning legislation, EIA, nature protection and administrative environmental law. Mads has considerable litigation experience within his areas of expertise. In particular, he has represented both municipalities and enterprises in important environmental cases before the High Court and the Supreme Court and has assisted in a large number of cases before the Environmental Board of Appeal and the Nature Protection Board of Appeal. Mads also advises private enterprises in transactions and he is experienced in environmental due diligence.

In addition to having a Master of Laws degree from the University of Aarhus, Mads has been granted right of audience before the High Court and the Supreme Court. He is a popular lecturer for environmental law courses, for instance at Local Government Denmark’s (LGDK) environmental law training courses.
