Ioannis has extensive experience in general commercial law, both advising and representing international and domestic corporations in complex litigations ranging from disputes arising from securities to agency and distribution agreements, as well as tort actions. Since the adoption of the Bankruptcy Code in Greece in 2007, he has represented some of the largest companies and groups in insolvency and restructuring proceedings, including the Conciliation Procedure under Art. 99 of the Bankruptcy Code. Ioannis has been successful in obtaining judicial moratoria against creditors in many of these cases. His company law practice is focused on advising minority shareholders of listed and private companies in relation to the exercise of their rights. Ioannis also advises and represents management and executives in white – collar crime cases.
