José Luis Ibáñez Bafalluy was born in Santiago, Chile, in 1979. He studied Law at Universidad Católica de Chile, been admitted to practice in 2005. During 2008/2009, José Luis studied a Master of Law (LLM) in Air & Space Law, in the Institute of Air & Space Law (IASL) of McGill University, in Montreal, Canada. José Luis is specialized in corporate law and aviation law, with special emphasis in the liability, commercial and regulatory aspects of the aviation industry.
