Alina’s main practice areas are Projects, Energy and Mergers and Acquisitions. Her background includes diverse experience in other areas such as finance and capital markets, privatizations, public procurement and general corporate. Before joining Peli Filip, Alina has worked for five years in the Bucharest and London offices of a Magic Circle firm and has acted on projects in several jurisdictions.

Alina has advised on some of the most complex energy, projects and M&A transactions on the Romania market in the recent years. Alina is currently advising a leading European renewables company in relation to the proposed acquisition of a wind farm and has advised it in relation to the acquisition and exit from another wind project. Recent experience includes assisting a leading European power company in relation to the project for the development of units 3&4 of the Cernavoda nuclear power plant (largest energy development in Romania) and the development of the Belene nuclear power plant in Bulgaria, assisting CWP in relation to the sale of the largest on-shore wind farm development in Europe and the development and proposed sale of several renewable projects in Romania. Alina has also assisted the winning consortium composed of two major European infrastructure companies in relation to the project for the construction of the Comarnic-Brasov motorway. Alina advised one of the world’s leading producers of cement and aggregates in relation to the sale of a construction engineering business and Glencore International AG in connection with the creation of a pledge over gasoline stock deposited in Romania.
