Patrick Lindgren of Helsinki, Finland, is a practising lawyer (LL.M in 1980 Helsinki University; trained on the bench 1982-1983; admitted to the bar 1983, in Finnish asianajaja, in Swedish Advokat with his law office called ADVOCARE), with mainly transactional corporate legal and sales related matters on his daily agenda, such as distribution contracts (agency, distribution, licensing, franchising, etc.). Patrick is the Finnish rapporteur to the IDI on franchising. In the past he was legal director with the Finnish semi-government central export promoting agency, and for more than a decade part-time lecturer in business contract law with the Helsinki University of Technology. Patrick has gained experience from international arbitration and mediation as well. He is an accredited mediator. Patrick has contributed to a number of international publications. Working languages are Finnish, the Scandinavian languages, German and English.
