Keri Johnston is the founding partner of Johnston Wassenaar LLP where she manages international and national portfolios on behalf of Canadian and foreign clients. Ms Johnston has represented parties in contentious multi-jurisdictional litigation and prosecution in the area of patents, trade-marks and passing off. In 2010, Ms. Johnston published and spoke internationally in the areas of trade-marks, passing off, copyright, anti-counterfeiting, and geographical indications. To datem in 2011, Ms Johnston has led a Workshop on ACTA at MARQUES in Madrid, moderated an INTA Roundtable in Toronto Canada on Dillution; and will be moderating a Workshop on Geographical Indications for MARQUES in Baveno, Italy. Ms Johnston will also be co-editing an issue of the Journal of Intellectual Property Law in May 2012 and an international session at INTA in Washington in May 2012.
