LUCIANO FIALHO DE PINHO is a senior partner of the corporate, M&A and private equity practices of LIMA NETTO, CAMPOS, FIALHO, CANABRAVA ADVOGADOS. He has significant experience in cross border transactions, providing services for foreign and domestic private investment funds and corporations in private placement deals, M&A transactions, corporate reorganization and restructuring, as well as in a variety of capital market deals. Luciano is graduated in law and accounting at UFMG, specialized in corporate law and economics at FGV. He received a master’s degree in corporate law from UFMG and an LLM from Columbia University, NY, USA. He is a member of the Brazilian Association of Private Equity and Venture Capital (ABVCAP), the Executive Committee on Capital Markets’ Self-Regulation AMBIMA/ABVCAP, the Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance (IBGC), and the Institute of-Brazilian Scholars for International Trade (ABCI). He worked as a foreign associate at Sidley Austin, Brown & Wood (NY/USA) and Willkie Farr and Gallagher (Washington DC/USA). He is the author of the LatinLawyer Reference - Private Equity 2009. He is admitted to legal practice in Brazil and in New York.
