Mr. Hee Woong Yoon, a partner at Yulchon, primarily practices in the areas of banking and finance, M&A, securities, broadcasting and telecommunication and foreign investment law. Before joining Yulchon, Mr. Yoon was a partner with Yoon & Partners.
Mr. Yoon has published “Legal Issues Arising from Private Equity Funds as a Partnership (Hap-ja-hoesa) under the Korean Commercial Code” for the BFL and “Study on Non-Statutory Securitization as a Method for Overcoming the Limitation of Securitization under the Law Concerning Asset Backed Securitization” for Study of Securities Act. He also wrote “The Effectiveness of Non-documentary Condition in the Letter of Credit” for his George Washington University Law School LL.M. thesis.
Mr. Yoon was previously a lecturer for the Judicial Research and Training Institute from 1998-2000. Furthermore, he was selected as one of the 2005 World’s Leading Capital Markets Lawyers by Legal Media Group, an eminent Law Magazine in England.
