Rahul’s practice involves advising clients on IT laws, media and broadcasting laws, communication laws, privacy and data protection laws, foreign investment laws, intellectual property laws, environment & climate change laws, food & drug laws, competition laws and international trade & WTO laws. He regularly advises clients on entry strategy/ setting-up business(es) in India, including foreign investment and legal/ regulatory issues and assists them in obtaining approvals and licenses from the Government.
Rahul has provided recommendations on regulatory issues, policies and legislations to various organisations such as Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), European Commission, Office of Communications (OFCOM, United Kingdom), Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN, United States), etc.
Rahul has authored several articles in various (Indian and Western) peer reviewed journals on issues relating to Technology, Media and Telecommunication (TMT) laws, Intellectual Property laws, competition laws and WTO laws.
Rahul has completed his Master of Laws (LL.M) in Information Technology, Media and E-Commerce Laws at University of Essex, United Kingdom. He is enrolled as a member of Bar Council of Delhi and is licensed to practice as an Advocate in India. He is also elected as a fellow of Royal Society of Arts (UK).
