Pascal Friton is an associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, currently works in the firm’s Berlin office and has previously also worked in the Washington, DC office. He is a member of the antitrust, competition and trade and environment, planning and regulatory practice groups. He specialises in public procurement law as well as international and EU trade law. He publishes in the field of public procurement law, particularly on qualitative selection criteria and self-cleaning issues.
Pascal was born in Berlin in 1979. He completed his legal education at the Humboldt University of Berlin and holds a master of laws degree (LLM) from the University of Durham, UK. He completed his legal traineeship at the Higher Regional Court of Berlin. Pascal joined the firm in 2008. He speaks German and English.
