Anna Piotrowska, Associate at Spaczynski, Szczepaniak i Wspólnicy. Trainee legal advisor, LL.M., graduated from the Viadrina European University in Frankfurt on Oder in Germany with a Master’s Degree in German and Polish Law, graduate of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan.
In the years 2006-2009 she worked for the law firm of Grynhoff, Wozny, Malinski sp. k. and for the law firm of WKB Wiercinski, Kwiecinski, Baehr sp. k. in the years 2005-2006.
Anna Piotrowska specializes in geological and mining law, environmental protection, public procurement and business. Her extensive experience includes, among other things, upstream activities related to all the stages of prospecting, exploration and mining natural resources, including unconventional natural gas deposits. She is an active advisor on many projects related to investment in protected areas, including areas covered by the Natura 2000 programme. Her experience includes environmental impact assessment and the legal handling of these procedures. She has provided opinions on numerous investment projects dealing with renewable energy resources, including biogas and wind. She has also frequently co-ordinated processes related to public procurement awards, including sectoral awards to foreign undertakings. She provided opinions for data safety sheets under the so-called REACH regulation. She also regularly provides advice on civil and business law issues.
