Stelios Gregoriou is a graduate of the London School of Economics. In his legal practice he focuses chiefly on his role as a litigator, combining the capacity and knowledge of the economist in cases that demand an economic analysis of the applicable law under given circumstances. Mr Gregoriou has been a member of the Athens Bar Association since 1986 and practises as a lawyer before the Greek courts, mostly the Supreme Court, and the European Court of Justice and European Court of Human Rights.
Mr Gregoriou’s areas of specialisation include international trade, international business transactions, commercial law, competition law, European law, banking law, corporate law, distribution and agency agreements, intellectual and industrial property law, stock exchange, foreign direct investments in Greece and the Balkan region, mergers and acquisitions, and arbitration/ADR.

Stelios Gregoriou’s legal arguments in court have contributed to the issuance of many Supreme Court and arbitral decisions that have vastly shaped the Greek case law of redress of dealerships or trade agencies. Also, he has contributed to the issuance of many cutting-edge Greek Competition Authority decisions that have enriched the concept of vertical restrictions in Greek Competition Law.
