Ángel Domínguez de Pedro: Mr. Domínguez received his law degree from Universidad Panamericana (1993-1998), and also did postgraduate work there in Civil Law (1998-1999).

He has participated in courses and seminars hold at Georgetown University, Washington, D.C. (2000), and by the International Chamber of Commerce in Mexico (2001).

He completed his master’s degree in Legal Advisement for Companies at the Instituto de Empresa de Madrid (2000-2001), and received a second undergraduate degree in law from Universidad de Castilla La Mancha, Albacete, Spain.

His principal areas of practice are: Civil, Commercial, and Corporate Law; Project Financing, Mergers and Acquisitions, Economic Competition, and European Union Law.

Mr. Domínguez has been working at Barrera, Siqueiros y Torres Landa, S.C., since 1997, becoming an associate in 1999 and partner in 2010. He is also a lecturer at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels at Universidad Panamericana and at Universidad Iberoamericana, and has lectured at the undergraduate level at Universidad de las Américas and at Universidad Anáhuac.

Mr. Domínguez has published various legal articles for newspapers and magazines such as El Financiero and Ars Iuris.

In addition to his experience with local and transnational companies in the commercial, industrial, and service sectors, he has also assisted institutional real estate developers, real estate investors, whose primary activity is real estate, with viability studies for different types of real estate projects, and also on the development and execution of innovative legal strategies to achieve their goals, noting his ongoing advisement of Wal-Mart, world leader in the supercenter sector.
