She received her JD from the University of São Paulo in 1975 and has been a partner with Felsberg, Pedretti e Mannrich, or Felsberg e Associados, law firm in São Paulo, Brazil since 1985. She concentrates her work in the areas of Project Finance, Securitization, Capital Markets and Corporate Law.

Ms. Pedretti has worked on many large project finance transactions, representing various foreign governmental agencies and multilateral financing organizations, in areas such as manufacturing facilities, power plants, transmission lines and mortgage backed securities. She has also performed services for debt restructuring, securitization and leasing transactions, as well as the structuring and implementation of diverse financing arrangements, including investment funds.

Ms Pedretti has provided legal assistance to Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC), Inter-American Development Bank, Banca Intesa, Banco Fator, Deere Credit, Asta Funding, among others.

Maria Graça Pedretti has authored several articles, including: “Stock and Quotas Pledges” in the Project Finance Magazine (London), “Securitization of real estate Receivables – Secondary Market Estate Receivables” in the Gazeta Mercantil (Brazil) and “Asset-Based Lending in Latin America” in the Secured Lender Magazine (USA). She has also given numerous speeches on Securitization, Trust Assignments, Capital Markets and Investment Funds.
