Law degree (Universidad Complutense Madrid) and Tax LLM (School of Economics, Universidad Autónoma Madrid).

Former Member of Tax & Legal Committees of the European Venture Capital Association (EVCA) and the Spanish Venture Capital Association (ASCRI).

After developing his professional career in Arthur Andersen (tax associate) and Baker McKenzie (tax associate and tax partner), he cofounded and launched the Madrid offices of SJ Berwin and Rodés y Sala, as partner heading their Madrid Tax Practices and coheading their Private Equity Practices.

Acknowledged as one of the “World´s leading lawyers” in Tax (Legal Media Group) and Private Equity (“Who is Who Legal Private Equity Funds”) and considered as one of the leading Spanish Tax and Private Equity lawyers (Chambers, Legal 500, Plc Which Lawyer?, La Gaceta de los Negocios).

Professor at the Instituto de Empresa and Fundación San Pablo CEU, where he teaches on several LLMs and Programs on Tax (international and domestic tax) and Private Equity related matters. Frequent speaker in international and domestic conferences and seminars on Tax and Private Equity related matters.

He joined BROSETA Abogados as partner in September 2009.
