Poul Heidmann primarily advises on regulatory issues, administrative law, constitutional law and local government regulation. A key interest area is the pharmaceutical sector, where Poul Heidmann has advised pharmaceutical organisations and companies for more than 20 years. He is a member of “Conférence Bleue”, a unique international network of lawyers specialising in pharmaceutical and healthcare issues.
Poul Heidmann also advises on energy law and environmental law. Poul Heidmann has regularly been involved in such matters as emission approvals, contamination disputes, planning issues, waste disposal etc. Further, Poul Heidmann has on behalf of the European Commission argued twice before the European Court of Justice.
Poul Heidmann was employed by the Ministry of Justice from 1986 to 1988. He has been a lecturer in property law at the University of Copenhagen.
