Sergei Sitnikov is a counsel in the Moscow office of Baker & McKenzie.
Mr. Sitnikov specializes in climate change, energy saving and natural resources and mergers & acquisitions. In particular, he regularly advises private entities and state authorities on various issues of implementing Kyoto Protocol and energy efficiency projects in the Russian Federation. Sergei Sitnikov joined the Moscow office of Baker & McKenzie in 2003.
Mr. Sitnikov graduated from the law faculty of Moscow State University (with honors) in 2003. He received his Ph.D from Moscow State University in 2007. Sergei Sitnkov has been a visiting professor at Moscow State Institute (University) of International Relations since 2007.
Mr. Sitnikov regularly participates in Russian and international conferences and roundtables on implementation of the Kyoto Protocol and development of energy saving projects. Sergei Sitnikov has written numerous articles on various issues of implementing energy efficiency mechanisms in Russia in Russian and international newspapers and journals.
